CITES / Disease Control

APHA have recently announced that with the UK now adopting 3rd country status with the EU, they are drawing up new requirements involving the need for quarantine and possibly vaccination requirements to become a requirement that will affect all species of raptor flown by falconers when they are moved between the UK and any EU countries and vice versa.

This is not linked to CITES and is a desease control requirement following the leaving of the EU. The quarantine requirements will be in addition to the need for CITES species to have import and export paperwork in place.

We are in discussions with APHA about this subject and will provide updates as they become available.
